Steve is going to become Nova? Is that what is implied? So his already super abilities would be even more super enhanced, plus Cap could travel the galaxy, create wormholes, shoots force blasts, fly, survive in Space?

Poor Jack Flag is gonna get bumped again.

Hasn't he hobbled over to the Clone and or Cyborg shop yet? In the Marvel U he could get new bits cloned or get really cool cyborg parts. Depends on his health insurance.

I recommend reading Marvel's Annihilation. it's probably the best event Marvel's had in the last five years.

I hope this is Rich giving Steve the Nova powers voluntarily. And then Steve giving them back voluntarily after kicking the necessary asses. To show how awesome they both are.

Yeah. Nova is Nova freaking Prime of the interplanetary Nova corps, a man who's held an entire civilization in his head, survived multiple galactic conflicts as a leader on the front lines, and is rebuilding an entire space militia from the ground up. He doesn't need to play second fiddle to anyone at this point, not even Captain America. And heck, I think he's probably the same age now as Cap was during the war.

So long as both characters and their abilities are treated with respect, I'm happy.

Only if Hal buys them. The past 2 years of Nova have been, in my estimation, some of the best comic books of the time period. Read Annihilation and Annihilation Conquest to get an idea of what a space epic is supposed to look like. Blackest what?

As much as I liked BN, I have to agree with your statement. I enjoyed all of the Annihilation stuff, and it was clear enough that someone with very little Marvel history knowledge like me could keep up and still enjoy it.

Agreed. Even though the idea of Cap lending his expertise to the Nova Corps takes my breath away a little, Rich is being written really well for the first time in his thirty-plus-year history (sorry, Marv).

Wasn't there a joke about a character going around purloining other people's power sets?
