Thanos has made the most fascinating of anti-heroes, when taking on other big uber villains.

It's a frequent go-to plot for sci-fi novels but very hard to pull off well.

That said, Marvel's space stuff has been by far their best material for the past year+. I was so glad when Nova stopped by Earth, told Tony to get stuffed, and went back to space.
