Four scans from the second issue of Generation Lost, as things get worse for our heroes.

In the last issue, Max managed to wipe any information about himself from the brains of everyone. (And it seems like we're talking everyone everywhere, not just on earth.) This issue reveals that his mind control also extends to images when the group shows Superman a picture of Diana snapping Max's neck that he sees as her holding a sword.

Undeterred, they find more superheroes to try to convince.

Say it with me guys/girls: "oh my fuuuuck."

The "Ice-attacking-Guy" thing isn't just a rumor. Guy really believes that she tried to kill him and, as an extention, so does the whole Green Lantern corps. The reason why? Well, you probably guessed it.

They theorize that the reason he hasn't done anything to Booster's reputation is because it already sucks. They set out to investigate some more and end up running into an old friend (sorta).

Am i the only one who really likes where this is going? Honestly it is the smartest idea I've seen a villain perform. Hell the thing he did to Booster, the whole Ted Kord committing Suicide, that right there I think is calling for a murder death squad.

Further I think the end of Brightest day will see a return of Kord, Garth, and Lian so I have a feeling that will tie into what is going on.

The thing is, it shouldn't have worked. We've been explicitly shown that Diana is immune to his powers in the past, with no indication that she ever lost that power.

I may be wrong, but didn't she gain immunity to mind control stuff because Athena, uh, 'bound her vision' to Diana's? Since Athena and the gods are gone I think that connection is broken, thus Diana can be mind-duped again.

At least that's my theory. :/

If the connection to Athena's eyes had been broken then Diana would be blind.

If he's capable of rewriting EVERYONE in the universe's minds like that, he's just TOO unstoppable though. Whatever his plan is, with a power like that he's surely got to have a more straightforward way of achieving it than this.

Surely it's not that bad, as the mass-mindwipe was a one-shot deal (given it almost killed him).

Apparently it affects mechanical minds too, as the effect was shown zapping Shaolin Robot in issue #1.--But non-sentient computers weren't affected...so if an artificial intelligence suddenly becomes sentient again though locked down while the wave was active, well...

actually I think him making people think Max commited suicide was insanely stupid and guarenteed to get his ass killed again.

For one thing Booster has access to time travel tech. Everyone knows that, even if they don't know he's a great hero. So he can jump to the future and kill Max at a point he's vulnerable.

I like this series as well. SRSLY, the first issue got me hook, line and sinker. That quote at the end was brill.

Though, Judd Winick is a big selling point for me.
