Update: Thank you everybody for the condolence. She was old and had her since I was a teenage,yeah it hurts. But I know she in a better place now. :)

	Sorry to hear about your cat. That has to be possibly the most disgusting reason for a cat being named Streaky I've ever heard of. And Hal kicked the kitty with a power ringed snakeskin boot? 	The cat I've got now is named Kitty, too, because we can't think of any other names for her. She recently had kittens, though--now we're blessed(?) with an overabundance of cats, and I had to give them all names. I'm so sorry about your kitty. I'm glad she had a good long life, though. From the sounds of it, anyway.

That is one of the most dickish things I think I've ever seen Hal do. And I like Hal! It never fails to amaze me how Johns so perfectly writes the Hal Jordan that people who hate Hal Jordan think of when they think of Hal Jordan. It's like some writer making Superdickery canon as characterization for Clark.

Heh. I know someone who has a cat named Stinky, and it's named that for the exact same reason that Powergirl named her cat that. And please tell me that the next panels from Green Lantern have Dex-Starr full on mauling Hal.

And sorry for your loss with your cat. I know how it feels. I actually just had one of my dogs put down yesterday. :( But it makes it better if you try to remember all the good times you had with them over the years. :)

Oh dude, methinks Streaky needs to have some worming tablets.

The naming scene reminds me of when I was fostering kittens trying to work out better names for them. One was easy, the other was a lot harder partly because he was the dumber of the pair. Well I should say _I_ was stuck on, my boyfriend took one look at him, judged him Hitler and I wasn't able to come up with anything more appropriate. :(
