I think that's an actual mythological reference - I'm pretty sure that there was a Norse goddess who had a cat-driven chariot. (Of course, it probably took more than TWO cats to pull it, but...)

Who was the Husky? An Ice Giant or a Fenrir himself? Either way, I will die laughing by how the girls would huggle and snuggle the big meanie.

And to the one gaurding the apples... a squirrel? I know Squirrel Girl can hold her own... but that seem out of that one Cass Town where Thor was scared lightning-less by the present of her.

Yup. Squirrel. Craftier and cleverer than Loki himself. Also about the same size as midgard squirrels. During Thor: Ragnarok when he made his first visit to the World Tree he picked up his old best friend and gave a version of the "Poor Yorick, I knew him well..." speech.

To add to the squeee ness, do you think that's Sif in the first scan, still a child, so with her legendary golden hair? (as opposed to the dark hair she got later when Loki conned the dwarves)

OK, this is just hilarious. I can't even look at all those pages of the itty-bitty Asgardians causing chaos without starting to giggle madly.
I'm not sure I like Alex falling into the role of the 'there's a logical explanation, dammit!' person, though. You're in ASGARD, man. You're surrounded by gods and trolls and flying cats, and you just watched with your very own eyes as they all reverted to babyhood. Knock off the Doc 13 impression; it doesn't behoove you.
