Golden Age Wonder Woman
Jun. 23rd, 2009 09:55 amThese are from Sensation Comics #14, 1943. I'm not at home so I can't look it up, but I think this is one of the issues drawn by Frank Godwin.

20th Century Boys: Rock and roll revolution and the horrible, horrible price of a customs job.
Jun. 23rd, 2009 01:00 pmUp next on my Naoki Urasawa lovefest (I may revisit the previous two series later) is 20th Century Boys. 20th Century Boys is strangely reminiscent of Stephen King to me (in a good way), only replacing King's love for classic Americana with Urasawa's native Japan (although they do intersect at times). 20th Century Boys is Urasawa's love song to his generation.
The Titans #14
Jun. 23rd, 2009 03:55 pmIn the previous issue, Nightwing questioned peoples commitments to the team and told anyone who didn't want to commit to leave, causing Jesse to do so. He then feels over-stressed and heads back to Gotham for advice from his old mentor, so when danger strikes, Garth takes over the leadership role.

So! Dinah. Anyone remember her? Short black hair, goes by "Black Canary", sometimes has fishnets? Pretty cool lady, if I do say so myself. Shame she's been in limbo for such a while.
