Hank Pym's Doctor Nemesis (who you're thinking of was in Argentina at the time) was one, scheming along lines that only profited him.

He was a scientist kind of villain, but not one to build legions of robot assistants or sprawling laboratory complexes from which he birthed things with cool names.

No, his lair was literally a trailer. Nix on allies as well, unless you count the events of 1973's Marvel Feature #9.. )

The all-new Firestorm (FirestormS?)

Ethan van Sciver and Gail Simone have released some hints about the Fury of Firestorm book they're going to do. Of particular interest is van Sciver's comments about how the new DC is giving artists an increased role and involvement in writing stories.

Green Goblin performs on David Letterman

This is a little old (a week or so) but I haven't seen it here...the Green Goblin from Spider-Man musical performed his number with some friends on the David Letterman show.

I watched the premiere of the new Thundercats cartoon this weekend and I thought it was pretty good.
