“Lemire’s script is heavily reminiscent of Brian K. Vaughan’s Runaways (arguably one of the best teen superhero comics ever)... Lemire lays impressive groundwork for a larger narrative that gives the team a stronger sense of direction than they’ve had in years. And he does so by turning to themes that any teenage reader will recognize.”—A.V. CLUB/THE ONION

"Comic relief is the greatest force in all of horror. There’s no creeping dread without a sigh of relief and a nervous chuckle. That’s especially true when you’re playing with the nature of heroism. In typically perverse narrative fashion we wanted to present an array of characters who — in any other story — would play the protagonists. And then we set about making them look as pathetic as they truly are." -- Si Spurrier

Bullseye #1

"I think Bullseye views the world as his playground and his targets as nothing more than that — targets, playthings. He doesn’t see them as people and generally has zero compassion. Even when/if he recognizes his targets as people, it’s only so that he can learn about them and, for special cases, completely destroy their lives before killing them. We’ve seen that side of him before in “Bullseye: The Perfect Game” and he attempted the same on Daredevil a couple years back.
In this series, though, he’s out to kill, to inflict maximum damage. And while he’s picking off targets left and right, we don’t forget that these are people. They have lives, family, jobs. So, Bullseye might kill someone and not think about it again, there’s a network around each victim who are affected deeply by his actions. That will play into this arc fairly heavily."

"When Old Biff Tannen travels to the past to give his younger self the Grays Sports Almanac, he opens a lethal Pandora's Box that drastically changes the course of history. In the BTTF movies, Doc and Marty save the day -- but what happens in Biff Tannen's dystopia before they do?"

The aim of these monthly posts is to give community members a chance to request postings; A story they might recall but not know the name of, or a specific arc, or even examples from a particular creator or genre.

We can't, of course, guarantee that any request will be filled, but given the combined geekitude of the community (and we mean that in the nicest possible sense) you might be surprised what can be unearthed.

What's the current story behind Rat Queens?
I saw that it's back with a new #1 after the writer fired the artist for domestic abuse, then got a replacement artist, then dismissed the replacement artist without telling her,and now has another, less good artist.

Is the Rat Queens brand toxic, or has it regained some of its early lustre?
