Now is the prefect time to say that Peter really IS the clone and that Spider-Man is really dead.

Wasn't Kraven's wife a compassionate doctor? Why does she want to kill people to order to bring him back to life? Why not... you know.. CLONE HIM!

Well, I'd assume that he wouldn't have the memories of the original, so you could assume that she'd want her husband back not what would essentially be another son as she'd have to teach how to read etc. after he'd stepped out of the vat.

But didn't all the Spider-Man clones had his memoires? Wasn't that problem with Ben Riley?

Could be argued that since the Clone Saga happened while Peter was still around the Jackal (?) could have somehow copied Peter's memories somehow while Peter wasn't noticing, or that Peter's mutated DNA allows for some kind of genetic memory or something.

Kraven's been dead for, what, over ten years comicbook time, roughly? Unless Mrs Kraven put the plan in motion before topping himself, I guess it could be assumed that a clone wouldn't have his memories as he didn't really have an altered genetic structure like Peter does.

Maybe thoughts and memories are based in memory, like in AstroBoy movie.

Even if she can't clone a perfect Kraven she can start him as a Clone Trooper, and train him to be like the son that Kraven never had/or wanted.

Peter should bring up Calypso (Kraven's lover and priestess, from the Torment story arc and Todd McFarlan's amazing start on Spidey) to her, and that he didn't kill Kraven, that Kraven killed himself. Resurrecting him would only "dishonor" the Hunter and he would kill those responsible.

The only time I recall Kraven being with a compassionate doctor was Dr. Mariah Crawford from the animated series?

Homeboy was around 80-90 when he died--he has memories of the October Revolution in Russia--it's very possible to say he's had multiple wives. Either that or character assassination.
