How Artemis keeps her weapons clean

This is a two-age story from Wonder Women Secret Files and Origins #1 from 1998. The image of Artemis in her cut offs polishing her sword was too awesome for me not to post. Plus it has Cassie and Artemis together - I liked how Byrne had Artemis looking out for her in his run.

On a side note, I wonder how heroes feel when their proteges wear other heroes' logos? I remember reading a fanfic where Bruce is irked when Dick runs around in his Superman pjs.

Probably weird or maybe they wouldn't mind it depends what character. Kon had a bat t-shirt if I remember and Bart got a Green Lantern tatoo that didn't last.

I remember that isn't the only time Cassie's worn a Flash T-shirt, I dont remember when it was but she was convincing some boy in her class that Wonder Girl was awesome and she was wearing a Flash T-Shirt. I guess she's a fan.

Well, I blame every single one of you who didn't get animated Wonder Woman when it came out on DVD. Even though I hated the thing with every fiber of my soul, the thing flopped and we'll probably never see another Wonder Woman, or any female super hero dedicated movie ever again.

I disagree, actually. True, we haven't seen one yet (the animated one aside), but DC's big guns are Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman. We've seen plenty of Bats, we've seen a fair amount of Supes, but no Wondy just yet. That can't last forever, though - eventually, Warner Bros. is going to be in a position where they're desperate for a hot new superhero movie, and they'll realize that one of their three most recognizable characters hasn't been used yet. And if THAT leads to anything, there are plenty of other strong female characters waiting to be used. Have patience.

I actually like the idea that the bracelets are supposed to represent their captivity and they wear them to show defiance. It really fits the characterization of the Amazons.

Also am I the only one who liked the way the island was split up during the Rucka run of Wonderwoman when she was an ambassador? Phil as Archon and Artemis as a war minister?

I like how it's specified that Diana's bracelets are SPECIAL bracelets, with special abilities. There's so many people who trot out the old 'she'd break her wrists!' thing when they're dissing the character that it's nice to have an officially mandated comeback.
I note that among Artemis' armor is a horned skull... thing. (Seriously, what is it?) I wonder how that 'best suits her fighting style'?

This Cassie seems so cute! Her clothes are so adorkable. The one that had that contrived romance with Tim seemed so bland. This one kind of reminds me of myself when young. Aww.

Also, yay Artemis. I'm pretty sure I like her more than WW.
