Which is below the cut, but here's what creator Justin Pierce has to say about it:

"Some of you have contacted me over Wonder Woman's revamp. In reality, Double-Dubya goes through this once a decade or so, inevitably falling back on her iconic duds. She's even rocked the jacket/pants combo before. A 70-year-old character with an ever-changing creative staff begets these revamps. Also, in my opinion, DC doesn't really know what to do with Wonder Woman, but that's just my opinion."

All right, point taken, there are SOME, but not many, and it's rarely for long. None of the really iconic superheroes have had a permanent costume change that I can think of.

I think there's a settling-in period and some of them last longer than others but when you do find that iconic outfit you stick with it. Like how Tony had the grey armor for some time at first before he ended up with the red and gold he's been with ever since.

You're quite right; there is - or used to be; it's not so common anymore - an 'awkward first costume phase' that some go through before settling on the one that's right for them. Tony is a bit of an iffy example of that, though, since his 'costume' is powered armor, which by its very nature is always getting upgraded and modified and tinkered around with - as a result, while his basic look has stayed very much the same for quite a while, it's been experimented with a LOT, like that brief period when his faceplate had a nose on it, remember that? Still, everyone knows the basics of what he looks like, which I think is what you meant.

A faceplace with a nose? Does that make Tony smell?

In my opinion, it just made him look like he was part songbird, but that may just be me.

No more than usual, but at least the odor was kept inside the armor.

Yeah, you can deal with so much alcohol-tinged vomit smell.
