Four scans from Daredevil #508, a tie-in to "Shadowland".

 

I'm not sure whether these issues are essential to reading the main miniseries; I would guess not, but I was already reading them, so it's all good (and if you're really interested in this story, one imagines this would be the central supplement).

Anyway, Daredevil kills Bullseye; the word hasn't largely gotten out  yet, but Foggy and Dakota find out about it, and are appalled (a bit overly so, in my opinion, but you can't say you weren't expecting it; I'm still 100% in favour of killing Bullseye; presumably we'll get to this later, but I really want to see Lady Bullseye's reaction, given that we've never really gotten much sense of what she thinks of Bullseye, beyond taking inspiration from his love of violence).  Anyway, they try to go see Matt, but White Tiger turns them away, though she promises to tell Matt that the Kingpin is behind everything...and then sends a ninja squad to kill them.

Elsewhere, Matt returns from a night on patrol:




Given that the Snakeroot are behind all this, I'm assuming this is The Beast manifesting.

What a way to cop out of making Matt deal with his actions. I would have been happy if he really did kill Bullseye himself but it appears Marvel wants to play safe with DD. Anyway yeah I did think Dakota's and Foggy's reactions pushed the line for OOC but not a major gripe.

I don't even get what the point of giving him an out is. I mean, they finally have an excuse to really turn a hero bad pretty legitimately, and they're copping out. Of course. Lame.

(Still think Bullseye's going to be res'd as a plot point, but whatever)
