Boy howdy, are there going to be a LOT of guest stars on this show... check out the artwork lining the walls!

More Information from here
There's another piece of information about Aqualad which I won't mention here, but is on the linked page, so beware of spoilers if you go there.

Oh, and just because there was a link to it, the best butt in the DCU shows up in DC Universe Online... the view is almost... hypnotic

and for legality, about the only YJ cover I can post here I think

Hehe. I just LOVED how the Producers called out all the members of the Justice League by name and how they serve as mentors and protege's to our characters....
...
...
...everyone EXCEPT Wonder Woman!

You want to know what Wonder Woman's status is on the DC boards? Well, there it is in that video folks. She's on the freaking board but the producers just elected to ignore her while they name everyone else who isn't a female, which is everyone but her. Oh, and Batman is the overall general who gives the orders? I'm shocked. Why don't you just have Batman give each JL and YJ member an instant death collar if they don't obey his every command? Or why don't we just call this stupid series BATMAN and the sex starved teenagers of Young Justice?

This series is going to suck. It does absolutely nothing new, focuses too much on the male demographic by ensuring that the males outnumber the females and that the males are the ones who are in charge. Oh look, even the legality cover features none of the female characters, and proclaims "The boys bust in!" I'm so sick and tired of this sausage fest bullsh**.

No, he cites every member of the League who has a counterpart/sidekick on YJ, which Wonder Woman doesn't.

Which is an interesting separate issue, because she's actually in the video, but I was under the impression she and her mythos couldn't make guest appearances; if she's here, but there's no Wonder Girl on the team, that's odd. But who knows what sort of arcane rules and requirements exist behind the scenes.

Maybe they didn't want another girl joining the team?

Weisman's track record doesn't suggest anything like that as a motivation (well, Gargoyles started out overwhelmingly male, but the cast grew over time).

I know the creators of the last Teen Titans cartoon outright stated they weren't allowed to use Donna.

Males = Lead, Females = Support. That's how it will roll and that's how they're gona keep it. Doesn't matter what they do, just as long as it makes our central male character closer to his goals. You honestly think that Miss Martian or Arrowette will have anywhere near the amount of screen time combined that Robin will most likely have?

Probably not, but then, Robin is also a much, much bigger character; I wouldn't expect J'onn or Green Arrow to get anywhere near Batman's screentime either.

Um, what was the point in ragging on the legality cover? Young Justice AS A COMIC was fairly equally balanced, gender-wise. Hell, the team was lead by Wonder Girl. The main reason this cover was shown was probably because it's one of the two or three covers for YJ we can actually post.

I get the rage at the inequality of the cartoon, particularly when you consider the team in the comic. Boys: Robin, Impulse, Superboy, Slobo. Girls: Wonder Girl, Secret, Arrowette, Empress. Still going to wait to see the show itself before forming an opinion on its sexism.

"Still going to wait to see the show itself before forming an opinion on its sexism."

I am by no means trying to label the producers as sexist. They may not have mentioned Wonder Woman, but she is there, and that's a lot more than I can say for that god awful attempt at bringing the Justice League into "The Batman". Not only did that Justice League have no Wonder Woman in it, it had no women in it at all!

I just want a series that has a clear female lead, or a series where the female out number the males for once. This is not that series, and from the looks of every previous series before it, we'll most likely never get that series at all. And it's not because they're sexist, it's because nobody, including fans like us want to give our heroines a chance.

BATMAN and the sex starved teenagers of Young Justice

"Mr. Wayne, could you sit down here, please? I'd like to ask you about these logs of an online chat between you and Young Justice member Artemis."
