Schmevil and I were talking Ms. Marvel the other day and the notion of reintroducing one of our favourite characters to the community. I'm not that interested in posting large chunks of Carol's history, so I'll stick to some of the cooler moments from her Brian Reed solo series.

We begin after Secret Invasion, with the Ascension teaser.

And yes, this is the first time that we are introduced to Ghazi.

Yeah, it actually amuses me that she flat out lies there. Whenever I see heroes undercover they generally reply with half truths. "Do you really think I could be that person?" And so on.

I used to think Carol was cool, but these days she reminds me of some (not all, but some) of the early feminists who see younger women following behind them, complain about how easy the youngsters have it, and then do everything in their power to see to it that they have an even harder time than the first women did.

Art fail - There is a bit where her dress stops, but her bosoms just keep on going.

And Christina Hendricks is too curvy to get anywhere near a role like this, sad to say. I met her at a con once, she was lovely :)
