I couldn't think of any "One Perfect Moments" for my favorite characters that I haven't posted the last time, so I decided to the next best thing: One Perfect Moment for Japan.

From Junji Ito's Uzumaki. Context? We don't need no stinking context.

It was a joke based on the strange entertainment in Japan and the increasingly fucked-up mangas that have been posted numerous times here. Sorry if you didn't find it funny.

I really don't want to get into this, but it's not the scan I object to, I like Uzumaki. It's your presentation of the scan I object to because it reinforces a negative stereotype, and you know it.

at the very least, balance it with some Chick Tracts or that scene in Ultimatum where the Blob eats Wasp and say "One Perfect Moment: USA". or better still, post some other Manga scans to balance this out and also title them "One Perfect Moment: Japan". Or, best of all, come up with a better and more clever title for this post.

I'm hardly trying to enforce a negative stereotype. At this point, fucked up mangas from Japan have become a meme on scans_daily, and a common response is "Oh, Japan" and etceteras. It's a joke. People recognize that.

A: What?! They are making out? Aren't they both boys?
B: Snail is zwitter.....

I was quite surprised that I didn't have nightmare after the reading..
