Just as the radioactive, kinda ghost of Marilyn Monroe is about to show them about, they get attacked by some more icons from the era, causing the resident action girl to literally leap into action.

Y'know, I have never ONCE seen the point of that argument.

If I can accept that ordinary ants can mutate up to 50,000 times their original mass in the space of mere weeks, I can ALSO accept that their musculature and chitinous layers have become durable enough to support their new weight and their oxygen extraction system has become efficient enough to deal with the greater demands.

In context, Robo has a habit of angrily declaring giant insects to be biologically impossible as he is fighting a giant insect. It is a running gag.

Out of context, you're overthinking it for extra reals.

Actually, I'm UNDERthinking it, because I just accept it. It's the ones who decry it because of the square-cube law that are OVERthinking it IMHO.
