Choosing One Perfect Moment for Atomic Robo is difficult because it's like a whole series of One Perfect Moments. But this scene, I think, really shows what Atomic Robo is about.

Atomic Robo, volume 3, issue 4. Two pages.

So Atomic Robo is fighting a being beyond time and space. He's fought the same being at different points in his life, and this is when you finally see what happened.

For the record, these are 1926 Robo (Holy socks!), 1957 Robo (with the fancy jacket), 1971 Robo (with the blue shirt and funny hat), and 2009 Robo (in the t-shirt).

YESH!
Atomic Robo is MADE of awesome. I personally would have gone with some of the dinosaur stuff, that had me in stitches when I read it the fist time.
Everything about this comic is just made of pure win.

Dr Dinosaur bits were a big contender, I admit. This is because those scenes are made of win and awesome.

And yes, that's because you're right - everything is made of pure win.

I love Atomic Robo so much. I had the pleasure of meeting the author while at SDCC. He signed my copy of this run

There are code phrases I've decided on should time-traveling versions of my self ever need my help with something. You can't always trust time-travelers to be who they say they are.

But what if a future version of you decides he doesn't like the current version of you and gives those code phrases to evil time-travelers? How are you planning on dealing with that?

Don't you want your future self to succeed in their endeavours?

My self-loathing prevents future versions from allowing others to defeat me. Only *I* can defeat me.

Nothing prepares you for an evil future version of yourself. It's an Enemy Mine scenario at best with time-traveling.

But I'm a skeptical guy by nature, so a good-future-me would play their cards openly ("I'm going to kill 15 people to avert World War III/The Great Plague", "We have to steal and destroy this technological research to stop the robot A.I. uprising"), while a bad-future-me would have to play an elaborate chess game to make everything they want appear more constructive than destructive, while also psychologically manipulating me with speeches and actions.

And knowing that as myself now, bad-future-me's would change their style accordingly, so...

Let's just say teaming-up with myself would be a last resort for all parties involved.

As you may have guessed from my icon I totally dig 70s robo's Hunter S Thompson outfit.
