Ah, Dynamo 5, if you haven't heard or read it before this, you've been missing out. 

Published at Image Comics it follows a group of 5 heroes and their coordinator.

Captain Dynamo was the former top hero of Tower City ala Superman and Metropolis. He was married to his love Maddie Warner (Moyer was her maiden name) before his untimely death. Now begins the story...

"Laser Vision. Super-strength. Flight. Shape-shifting. Telepathy. Everyone knows the powers. They belong to Captain Dynamo, right?"



And so we see the Dynamo 5. 







So yes, the Dynamo 5 are 5 illegitimate children from the same super heroic father.

They are

Hector Chang: 15 years old and gains his fathers vision based powers as the hero Visionary.

Spencer Bridges: Loner and womanizer of the group who inherited his fathers shapeshifting powers as Myriad.

Gage Reinahrt: 17 year old football star who amusingly inherits his fathers telepathic powers as Scatterbrain.

Olivia Lewis: Roughly 20 and gains her fathers fast flight powers as Slingshot.

Bridget Flynn: Oldest of the Dynamo 5er's in her early 20's and the teams super strong/durable powerhouse.

The individual members are contacted by Maddie, though they don't have their powers yet.



Yes, Scatterbrain is indeed a scatter brain, hitting on his half-sister.

The entire intro is told in a recap way while the team on an early mission are fighting down a Hydra like villain leader named Superior who they capture after some effort and Visionary being kidnapped for a bit.







Dynamo 5 is a very good title and I highly recommend it. Also this issue is avaiable online in full for free at the Image Comics website as a online comic in case any of you want to see Maddie's first meetings with the individual members.
