This and seeing Wade/Outlaw in Deadpool #1000 made me So. So. Happy.




So Jason is training under a martial arts expert who he later finds is trafficking 10-year-old kids in a sex trade.

He kills the man by poisoning his energy drink and brings the kids to the British Embassy. Meanwhile, Talia is stalling him from his mission against Bruce. He sits down and talks with her afterwards.

I know, right?! Like seriously, Jay is hot, mmmkay?

Speaking of those changes Morrison made (and I hope to God the red and balding hair doesn't stick), do you think Morrison was playing with that idea that in the Batuniverse ugly = evil?* Granted, I know that Morrison doesn't think Jason is evil and has said so himself and I do think he was writing Jason as an anti-hero (even has him look so similar to Rorshach, who was the anti-hero in Watchmen).

*For men, not women, anyways...

Oh I absolutely think Morrison was playing with that trope. Unfortunately, when he plays with it he is also playing into it at the same time. That's my problem with Morrison; he plays with characters and continuity when he tells his stories. And it's funny, and sometimes deep, and usually entertaining, but I hope to god DC will clean up the mess once he's finished playing.

Ha, yeah. Can you imagine what the editorial reaction would've been if he'd tried to make, say, Huntress an acne-ridden, balding redhead?

Yeah. The biggest thing I hate about Morrison's arc is that people are accepting the red hair as TRUTH now. Ugggggh. (Or that Morrison *finally* did something *interesting* with the character, which bugs me on a whole other level, but that's a rant for another day...)

Ha, yeah. Can you imagine what the editorial reaction would've been if he'd tried to make, say, Huntress an acne-ridden, balding redhead?

Oh Gods. Would never happen. They only just made Jane Doe unattractive in looks, not just personality. And the scene in Battle for the Cowl where she is changing into a police officer's uniform and we see her in a pink thong bugs me to no end.
