I think it's just because at this point it's just the three of them, and they're all still very green at the superheroing game. Once the Legion had a cast of thousands, sleeping around wasn't such a big deal.

Even with the mindwipe, this isn't as bad as the first time Rokk and Imra hooked up. Back then, she was subconsciously animating his comatose body. Essentially, she was dating herself with Rokk as a... prop.

The Ultra Boy thing was stupid and totally put me off Shooter's run (which thankfully ended quickly). It didn't help that there was no reason given why Saturn Girl went to have mad sex in a closet with Ultra Boy (aside from him being "nice to her") when she says LL was the "love of her life" and Shooter didn't do anyone any favors when he later semi-retconned it with Imra saying to Garth that she wasn't sure that they had actually done anything "physical" but may have (just may have, mind you) consummated the act on a telepathic plane - despite the fact that when SG and Ultra-Boy were caught in the closet, Imra was naked as a jaybird and Ultra Boy was quickly trying to pull up his pants.

And now Levitz is doing the same dumb stuff to this other Saturn Girl too? D'oh!

So when Rokk wakes up, with a vague memory of having slept with SOMEONE on the team, but it CAN'T be Imra, he's going to think he spent the night with Garth (Who is clearly in denial from Rokk's point of view)? I can see that explaining a lot about their relationship over the years. :)

So are we supposed to forget that this incident contradicts everything we know of Legion history (and the relationship between the founding trio), that it has never been hinted at in decades - and not even in any of Levitz's own Legion stories (including the one in the primary Legion book right now) and that Imra, despite saying "she'd never forget" and never even seemed to dwell or allude to the possibility of this happening in any though boxes EVER?

Or are we supposed to forget that this story supposedly takes place at the very beginning of Legion history where the founding 3 are supposedly only 14-15 years old? I guess they develop fast on Titan, huh, Mr. Levitz? Sex seems no big deal for her.

Maybe Levitz wanted to pull something to make this Saturn Girl (supposedly the original) match up with the other 2 versions? The Archie Legion Saturn Girl who had a romance and almost married Cosmic Boy, only for her (and everyone else) to discover that in reality Rokk was comotose the whole time and Saturn Girl was animating his body and his movements and the whole "romance" with her mind. I would classify that as quasi-rape - but everybody forgave her.

Or in the Threeboot Legion where the low-self-esteem Saturn Girl has what appears to be quickie sex in a closet with Ultra Boy (during Jim Shooter's run before the series was cancelled) because LL wasn't paying enough attention to her and Ultra Boy was sympathetic? Then ret-conned issues later when Imra tried to explain it to Garth (or maybe she was lying) that nothing had happened with Jo physically - only a mental plane. This despite the fact that she and Ultra Boy were caught naked in the closet (why naked if only on a telepathic plane?).

It seems Levitz just wants to make Saturn Girl unlikable across all worlds? I mean having sex with a guy and then mind-wiping him? Weren't we told in Identity Crisis that mind-wiping was a BAD thing and that "heroes" who do it will later get their comeuppance?

I got that notion myself. So far the only versions I like is the one in the current Legion book..except she needs to grow her hair back, the animated version, and Smallville....god she was hot.
