30 Days of Scans meme Day 3: Favorite Friendship

I know that I will upset some people by posting this before they do, but tough. This is my favorite pairing of friends in the funny pages. They get along well, bicker, try ridiculous things together and balance each other out.

And a big shout out to Mr. Watterson, because they have stood the test of time.
These never get old.

Nope, I'm not pissed off, I'm just glad someone got to this before I did. Calvin and Hobbes was my favorite comic strip as a kid. The older I get the more I appreciate it.

And that storyline has always been one of the most touching C & H ones to me, even as a kid. Probably didn't help that I read that around the time my maternal grandmother died......

I was considering posting the cover to Birds of Prey #15 for my favorite friendship, but I think C&H trump that pretty soundly. Nice choice! If this were reddit, I'd +1 this post so much. :-)

The raccoon storyline always makes me sniffle a bit. :( Poor raccoon.

Calvin and Hobbes is, and will always be, my favorite newspaper strip. No comparison.

Also, when I was about six or so, I would just crawl into my babysitter's closet and read her Calvin and Hobbes collection cover to cover, over and over again, because it was so damn funny. And it just gets funnier with time. It's a special comic. :D
