Two funny bits from Avengers & The Infinity Gauntlet #1

Because it is awesome.

I don't think I need any context, everyone knows the Infinity Gauntlet story, right?

Never gets old.

Then Doom shows up, demanding to be on the team, fight scene, yada yada yada.

Pfft, yeah Peter. Only peasants and people who aren't the Koolaid Man use DOORS.

He should ask Logan, since he's right there. The X-Men has always been heavy supporters for the "We make our OWN doors" school of thought.

..... you had me at Atomic Robo.
Speaking of that, WHERE CAN I BUY ATOMIC ROBO? (I already saw this at my local comic store xD But AR seems to be a myth everywhere but the internet)

I really wish people would put the creators into the tags more often. I can see that this is Ms. Marvel up there, but I wouldn't have known it was Clevinger if I hadn't heard an interview with him earlier.

Okay, I wasn't going to buy this, but I will.

You can tell Peter's just having a nerdgasm at the thought of going into space.

Why can I see this Peter Parker palling around with Dr. McNinja?

My brain just exploded from the idea of a Spidey/Dr. McNinja/Axe-Cop crossover.

Honestly, I dunno if I'd put Axe Cop in that team. The thing is, McNinja and Spidey are both enormous geeks, and while Axe Cop is AWESOME written in five-mile-high letters, he's not so geeky as the others.

Which is why we need a crossover with Wolverine and Axe Cop....

Latveria's largest industry? Wall Building.

Doom tends to go through three or four walls just getting the paper in the morning. So he has a crack team of masons and architects on retainer 24/7.

This is fantastic. Did this just come out? If it's been out, how much do I have to catch up on?

Seriously, this is the best thing I've read all day. Likely to be for the rest of it, too.

Oh, I see! Wolverine IS overexposed, that's true. That observation is so novel that the flat delivery really doesn't reduce the hilarity that I feel right now.

I mean, when you come up with an unprecedented comedy gem like that, the last thing you want to do is to tweak it in any way. Might dilute the brilliance.

The art's pretty wonky but it adds to the hilarity sometimes. There's a panel earlier in which Wolverine looks like a stocky, hairy barrel.
