Date: 2010-08-24 08:59 pm (UTC)But incidentally she's flying to Bizarrogirl's ship and taking her off planet. COnsidering how fast they show her moving apparently conversation wasn't something she felt she had time for. Bizarrogirl is superhuman after all, maybe she'd wake up.
Really this is an old trope that'll always be part of superhero comics and I don't think that this was a bad use of it.

Date: 2010-10-23 08:30 pm (UTC)The idea that Starr Labs captures and performs experiments/analysis on anyone against their will, even "enhanced metahumans" guilty of murder, is a little chilling. I know they're supposed to be the "good guys", but still... brrrr. I know, it's all for humanity's good, they're just looking out for us, and the Bizarro committed a murder. But in some ways Starr Labs make the Phantom Zone look gentle and kind, and least you're safe from the curious ministrations of your captors and their machines there. And Doctor Light seems to be a big part of it. The look on Supergirl's face when Doctor Light is talking about imprisoning the Bizarro and finding out "what makes her work" was exactly how I felt when I read this.
