I know, I know, it comes out tomorrow anyways. But it's interesting because I have no idea how we went from the wild wild west of the last issue to this... obviously stuff has happened. Newsarama has the preview. Some spoilers and head scratching behind the cut.

Hiring the Secret Six... the new batch, as Process Servers/Negotiators?

I don't think so... at least I can't remember her since Nightwing's series, and if she wasn't in Bludhaven when it went up she'd be fine.

Question: Does Bane still own Santa Prisca?

During the end of NO MAN'S LAND, Lex Luthor was planning a massive land grab and got Bane to destroy some records. IIRC, Bane's payment was legal ownership of Santa Prisca.

From what I remember, Amanda Waller authorised an illegal Checkmate operation on his island to get him thrown out. That or Geoff Johns just had him decide to become a henchman during Infinite Crisis.

No, not really. Do you remember that Ben 10 episode which retold the first episode, except Gwen got the Watch instead of Ben and Big Bad Vilgax showed up immediately instead of waiting for the end of the season? And you couldn't call the episode as a What If because Ben somehow remembered the real last season, and it was never explained how, and all the rest of the episodes ignored this one?

It's the same thing here - last issue's story just randomly stuck the cast in the Wild West because I guess Gail Simone really wanted to do a Western story. It clearly wasn't cannon, and you can bet your bottom dollar it'll never be mentioned again - except maybe a reference or two to reward long-term fans.

Hmm, I just happened to be writing a Gwen (the Ben 10000 episode version) centric fic when I happened by your comment. So universe, what are you trying to tell me now?

id like to beleive that that version of the six was a past incarnation of them :) makes the ending a little bitter sweet :)

i love gail.... but i am very confused she would work with the guy who hired deathstroke to kill ryan.... last we saw them they were still dating.... unless she is planing on stepping on him later....

That's my guess. I'm thinking Doris deliberately joined whatever team Dwarfstar was on in order to kill him.

The part of brain that's still in denial is trying to convince the rest of my brain that Dwarfstar IS Ryan, maybe operating undercover.
