Here's is the official 75th Anniversary logo that DC is using for hats, buttons, tee-shirts and items at Zazzle its marketing partner.

Notice anyone missing? That's right, instead of Wonder Woman they have included the Flash and Green Lantern.
Needless to say there's some concern about this exclusion. A petition has been started to request DC provide an all-female anniversary logo as well. The logo would include four of the top DC female heroes - Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Supergirl, Power Girl, Oracle, Batwoman, Black Canary Zatanna — take your pick.

So go take a look and sign it if you feel DC should do right by its female characters.

::looks at DC's title list since Johns became the company darling a few years ago:: Gee, I wonder why. It couldn't possibly be because there was a major push by all involved to bring the characters back to the forefront of the DCU, while Wondy had to put up with the likes of Amazon Attacks.

Post-IC, Wondy was actually getting a push.

And it says something really bad that AA was the culmination of that push. Thus resulting in Gail being a salvage operation rather than continuing a popular title.

They gave her a relaunch that was chronically late, then paired her with a writer that thought she couldn't work a gas pump, then made her the star of an event that she was barely part of and that destroyed her canon. I know I said that she isn't as popular as Flash and Green Lantern, but that is DC's fault.

Yea, definitely. The first of those is somewhat excusable in that they clearly didn't expect such big delays (though still a fairly risky move to put a writer unused to the deadlines up first), but the rest was really balldropping. *Especially* AA.

Didn't Heinburg pull the same thing with Young Avengers?

Yeah but YA was an unexpected success and it's future success and standing within the MU didn't hinge on Heinberg completing it on time.

Sadly, his run on WW did have all that on the line. IMO the post OYL book was supposed to be the launching pad for Wondy to "earn" her spot in the Big 3 (and for her to finally sell) without it being an obligatory given. DC made the mistake of putting way too much faith in the hands of an unreliable (when it comes down to deadlines at least) writer.

Not to mention that the DCU online trailer pretty much reflected nothing of what Wonder Woman is capable of. Amazon Strength bestowed upon her by the gods? Naw, let's just have that ninja Deathstroke easily bamboozle her. Oh, and she'll scream like crazy when Lex electrifies her.

Need I go into the "Why should we trust you? He's lying!" bit when Wonder Woman clearly has the Golden Lasso of truth?

To be fair, Deathstroke has been turned into a ridiculous Gary Stu who single-handledly defeated the JLA, knocking out the Flash while he was running, and in the trailer itself he made Batman into a human pinata.

There is no justification whatsoever for the Lasso of Truth thing, though. That one is pure, concentrated idiocy, wrapped up in layers of offensiveness.

Flash and Green Lantern were more popular long before that.
