Backstory: Infectia (think Poison Ivy... and yes, Bobby sees nothing strange about dating a woman named Infectia) is trying to seduce Bobby in order to mutate him with her kiss. X-Factor, knowing that woman having a sexual interest in Bobby could only be a villainous plot, set out to stop her.

I love this era of X-Factor, and yes I had this issue. It was pure fill-in, but fun nonetheless. And you're right about the name, you'd think she'd have bothered to use an alias or something, but Bobby was so desperate for a piece he apparently didn't care about the huge red flag waving in his face. Then again, she almost got Beast too if I recall correctly. Which if nothing else is a case in point for why having only one adult female on a team is a bad, bad idea.

I'm pretty sure Jubilee didn't exist as a character yet, unless I'm getting my dates mixed up. Jubilee definitely didn't come in until after Inferno, and I'm pretty sure the Infectia issue is pre-Inferno.

Can anyone confirm this?
