They DID! In NIGHTWING, there was that whole thing with dead bodies being used for flying zombie soldiers (or something, I can't quite remember now), and he and Superman ended up moving the bodies of dead heroes into a giant safe tomb inside of JLA (or possibly JSA?) headquarters.

Am I remembering this right? Anyone? Or did I just hallucinate it?

	If there's a major DC writer who hasn't bothered to read Sandman, Geoff Johns would be it. I told this guy at work that, but he's one of the "ZOMG COMICS IS TOTALLY SERIOUS SERIOUS BUSINESS GUYS" types.

And then he started ranting about how Gaiman!Death does not fuck things up and about how I "missed the point of fandom."

	Yeah. But he seems to have been kinda powered up by Spectre/Parallax/Hal. Considering Parallax, he probably saw this coming.
