Personally, I would start hiding my dead. But that's just me and all.

Hide them? BURN THEM. Burn it all.

Having read the teasers (http://comics.ign.com/articles/974/974027p1.html), it makes me wonder if Neil Gaiman's version of Death is gonna cameo in this event at all. Hopefully in a non-ridiculous capacity.

[identity profile] vignettelante.insanejournal.com 2009-04-24 21:54 (UTC)(link)
No! Then you'll just be dealing with burning space zombies.

[identity profile] hybrid2.insanejournal.com 2009-04-24 22:00 (UTC)(link)
That would be awsome. but i heard DC dont want to mix the vertigo characters at all with DC,for some reason.

it will confuse the fans and the continuity problems would make peoples heads EXPLODE!!

[identity profile] brilliantnova.insanejournal.com 2009-04-24 22:02 (UTC)(link)
Well that's kinda gross

[identity profile] xlineartx.insanejournal.com 2009-04-24 22:03 (UTC)(link)
If there's a major DC writer who hasn't bothered to read Sandman, Geoff Johns would be it. Although really, a part of me is still holding out hope that this will end in a zombie-catching game like At Death's Door.

OH SHI-

[identity profile] ashtoreth.insanejournal.com 2009-04-24 22:06 (UTC)(link)
Of course she can show up! But she'll be on skis.

[identity profile] addude.insanejournal.com 2009-04-24 22:07 (UTC)(link)
I would love to see death
I mean shouldn't some reprensetive of death show up when the dead start to to rise, I assume something like that world perk her attention

[identity profile] kagome654.insanejournal.com 2009-04-24 22:11 (UTC)(link)
And somehow...it would be even more awesome than it sounds.

[identity profile] darklorelei.insanejournal.com 2009-04-24 22:16 (UTC)(link)
Urk.

Also, I feel this will lose a lot when it gets colored.

Even the skull is horrified

Omnomnomnom

I'd really love to see her cameo. I really would.

That picture of Black Hand is giving me serious Batman-Midnighter vibes... which is starting to make me nervous about the skulls of Selina and/or Apollo. HAS ANYONE HEARD FROM THEM LATELY

[identity profile] darklorelei.insanejournal.com 2009-04-24 22:32 (UTC)(link)
Ahaha, thanks for the links. That second one is hilarious.

[identity profile] parsimonia.insanejournal.com 2009-04-24 22:33 (UTC)(link)
They DID! In NIGHTWING, there was that whole thing with dead bodies being used for flying zombie soldiers (or something, I can't quite remember now), and he and Superman ended up moving the bodies of dead heroes into a giant safe tomb inside of JLA (or possibly JSA?) headquarters.

Am I remembering this right? Anyone? Or did I just hallucinate it?

[identity profile] foxhack.insanejournal.com 2009-04-24 22:38 (UTC)(link)
Well, Dream 2.0 DID show up in one of the recent Crisis...

[identity profile] foxhack.insanejournal.com 2009-04-24 22:39 (UTC)(link)
Yeah um. That can't be hygienic.

[identity profile] perletwo.insanejournal.com 2009-04-24 22:41 (UTC)(link)
Yes, it was Nightwing and Superman investigating grave robbings of like 40s and 50s superheroes, and IIRC Talia was using them somehow? Anyhoo, it did end up with a big Hero Tomb to keep DNA safe.

[identity profile] neuhallidae.insanejournal.com 2009-04-24 22:43 (UTC)(link)
Really? I wanna see!

[identity profile] neuhallidae.insanejournal.com 2009-04-24 22:49 (UTC)(link)
Looking at the other teaser images...

Good God, Sapphire. (http://media.comics.ign.com/media/142/14295096/img_6661584.html) That crotch symbol will never cease to annoy me.

[identity profile] parsimonia.insanejournal.com 2009-04-24 22:51 (UTC)(link)
That's right, it was Talia. (And then later she changed strategies to using the Mother of Champions, I believe.)

I wonder if the Hero Tomb will be acknowledged, or if it'll be conveniently forgotten in the name of drama, that apparently involves Batman(?) making out with with a skull.

It was a while ago. Daniel Hall, remember him?

Quoth the Wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Hall):

In a 2006 issue of JSA (#80), Daniel brought the spirits of his mortal parents to live in the Dreaming after their deaths.

One for the request post? I don't have my scans handy.
