I think this is going to be the post where S_D'ers really shine.




Soooo right now mine is Mia Dearden/Jason Todd. They met in Green Arrow #71 and fought in #72. Jason blew up her school and tried to sort of woo/warn her about the fallacy of sidekick-dom and that her mentor may fail her just as he believes his has failed him.
They actually have a lot in common and I think they both really deserve some happiness in their lives. The Green Arrow arc is what started it for me ....

Mine is one that was sorta kinda hinted at, then dropped before it went anywhere with a creative team change: Wolfsbane and Strong Guy from the Havok-led version of X-Factor. They were clearly friends, but I thought there was potential for so much more. I thought Peter David agreed. And then he left.

Cable and Deadpool got me into comics in the first place, so they will always have a special place in my heart. Or something. Yay odd couples.

Tony and Steve I don't think I got into until Civil War was going on but between that and Marvel Adventures and the movies and AU's there's a lot of ways you can do them, which I like. Also, they totally have canon man-crushes on each other at least. (I also think Clint has a bit of a crush on Steve as well.)

Booster/Ted I resisted for a long time - usually I get into pairings because I go on TV Tropes or here and see people squeeing about them and decide to check them out - but I finally gave it a chance and it is amazing and adorable and everything people said it was. (And it got me reading the old JLI stories and the current stuff, both of which I love.) I'm also currently shipping Booster/Max, but what I've really been into is Booster/Ted/Max - assuming that Max didn't go evil or has recovered from being evil by then, because otherwise it's kinda weird.

Nite Owl/Rorschach, since I'm currently hosting the Watchmen kink meme and feel obligated to mention something from it, and Laurie can come too if she wants.

I actually don't seriously ship Batman with the Robins - I prefer Bat/Cat - but if I see Bruce/Dick or Bruce/Jason I will totally read it, because I can see both of them having messed up sexual attractions to him.

I'm not sure about Clark/Bruce/Diana, because as I said I'm Bat/Cat and also Clark/Lois, but if, umm, their respective others (mostly Lois) came along with them (lol)...I could get into that.

And Piper/Trickster and Bea/Gavril (which might be heading towards canon maybeyesplz?) and Power Girl/Captain Atom because there were scans of them hanging out a while back and I think it'd be cute and Atlee can totally come with, and I've kinda been considering Jason/Cass, but really Jay needs to have more interaction with people before I can settle on him (info broker for BOP) (or JLI) (shut up he needs people who can put up with snark and someone needs to be the pissy leadership-challenging guy now that Guy's gone) (I'll be quiet now).
