So this time around... it's not Jean, not Kurt, not Cable. But Madrox?

Must be all the dupes that have been killed. We do have banshee, Thunderbird 1, looks like the two dead Stepford Cuckoos sisters.

Of all the dead X-men they use two Cuckoos and untold number of Maddrox? Given, the latter is intriguing but lord... Revanche, Joseph, Sway, Petra, Changeling, Maggot, NIghtcrawler... Need I go on?

Must we focus on Thunderbird all the time? An X-Men who died due to stupidity?

Plus, James Proudstar took over John's role and eclipsed him by having far more character development, so bringing John back seems kind of silly.

Yeah, he gets WAY too much focus when it comes to remembrance. Lord, Changeling and Sunfire should be so lucky. Heck, and Sunfire is still alive (though he is kind of an asshole).

Nightcrawler died like five minutes ago. Focusing on him so soon really lessens the impact of his death.

Revanche was recently rezzed in the Sisterhood storyline, kinda. It's best to just let her stay in the ground for a while until someone can write a story involving her that isn't convoluted and confusing (that may not be possible).

Sway and Petra and Changeling just weren't very important.

Pssh, like that's ever stopped them. How long was Wolverine "dead" before they revealed he was a skrull? One issue? I think it was one issue.

Yeah he was, it's probably too soon to focus on him again.

But resurrecting Revanche, Petra or Sway just brings up some really confusing and unfortunate storylines that are better off forgotten.
