The JLA and The 99
Sep. 26th, 2010 02:34 pmAccording to CBR, Fabien Nicieza and Stuart Moore will be writing a "six-issue cross-over miniseries" featuring the JLA and...The 99?
For those of you don't know (I didn't until 24 hours ago), "The 99" is a title created by Kuwaiti cartoonist Naif al-Mutawa and produced by the company Teshkeel, which lisences DC, Marvel, and Archie stuff for the Middle East. According to CBR, "The 99" is "a group of young super heroes of various nationalities from all across the world" who "all gained their powers through use of one of The 99 Noor Stones, each of which represents a different attribute of God (Allah) and grants the wielder abilities associated with it."

The 99 team is also getting an animated cartoon while the cross-over comes out October 27. Edit: Apparently there's also a : theme park.
