And why are 20th century fairy tale creature (ie the flying monkeys from Oz and armor polar bears from the Golden Compass, and whatever that saber-tooth carriage came from).
And to top off my nit-picking... vampires? Really? There are other beings to work with you know. Twilight being downing the vampires alot, Vampire Sucks literal proves how stale the material is.
