Perhaps but 1) we are dealing with a protegee of the Bat-God who always carried around a Kryptonite ring just in case and 2) the contest is more about "attitude" than just strength and in that case Cass has it all over Supergirl. That's why Batwoman beat the (magically) stronger Mera.

That's my Kara forever though, no belly shirt for starters. The El family should be sweet, and a little innocent with respect to the ways of the big city (no ass-kickers at the Fortress). I always really dislike "normal" (although they aren't really normal, they're far superhuman) characters who can do such ridicilious stuff. At least Iron Fist can say "Hey, Magic Dragon Blood!" It's one of the things that really, really annoys me.

Sorry Kara, but Batgirl's run was pretty good throughout, while you spent the first year of your existence as a total Mary-Sue/ masturbation aid with no clear characterization, and were constantly shuffled through writers that clearly had no idea what the hell to do with you.

Cass is the sort of person who'd give someone a second chance if they recognised what they did was wrong and wanted to improve.

Kara is someone who'd drop a deadbeat father from roughly a mile up and then catch him JUSSSSSTTTTT before he hit the ground in an attempt to threaten him into spending Christmas with his child, even though he said that he didn't want to be involved and would break the kids heart when he made a break for it when he thought that Kara wasn't noticing.

There are 2 Kara Zor-Els in DC right now. There's the obnoxious Jerk Sue who really needs to eat a sandwich, and there's the innocent Pollyanna whose father didn't brainwash her into murdering her infant cousin. The trouble is, you never know which Kara you're going to get.

So I vote Cass. She's relatively consistent in her awesomeness, and for her the parental issues work.

Hmm if it was Cass during her heel turn I'd vote yes..as the only highlight for me was her fight against Supergirl..with the use of red sun powerd katanas... yes..I said it... So if it was Cass on her heel turn and we're talking rematch...then I'd go for Cass. Otherwise, Supergirl all the way here.

I'll have to go with Cass. She's gone up against Supergirl and would have beaten her if it weren't for crystals ex machina, so I'd say the question of which is more badass has already been answered.

This is tough, and I have to say, you are stacking the deck with the Kara panels (cute, not kick-ass), but it's Cass. She has smarts; she'd play dirty (within reason); Bruce would have packed Kryptonite in her utility belt. She's got no respect for her body or any one elses in a fight, that is, she'll put it all out there. She is awesomeness.

It's always been clear with any Bat/Supes fight that Supes wins unless the writer can come up with a gimmick, bonus points being awarded for originality, plausibility, and inventiveness. It wouldn't be any different here. Without a strong story reason Supes always wins.
