As I hadn't heard of it, I was pleasantly surprised to notice a Dethklok comic when I went to get my comics. Co-written by Brendon Small, even. (He didn't do the dialogue, but Jeremy Barlow, who did, really gets it.) It was hard to choose a legal amount to post, but it had to be shared, so I endured, and did it. 4 pages (well, 3 pages, and 2 partial pages that add up to a fourth) of 23 under the cut.
As we open, the band and Charles Foster Offdensen are discussing that the band's plan to release a line of frozen dinner got prematurely leaked. As it turned out , it was because Murderface had posted about it on hisTwChitter. After they make fun of him a bit about having a TwChitter, they ask his screenname...
So, let's see hisTwChitter page:

Of course, since it's frozen food, Toki's dad comes up, so Murderface tries to cheer him up with a little story...

A couple thoughts beyond the story itself...art's not great, but it's serviceable - that last panel with Pickles and Murderface is pretty dire (Pickles, particularly looks stubby and chubby - more Murderface's build than his), but at least everyone's recognisable, and their expressions and actions are clear.
And, seriously, the dialogue's right on, which I don't always expect from adaptations, unless they're using a borrowed script.
And since it's not Metalocalypse without a song...

Skwisgaar, particularly. The next they're mostly on-model. Then, on the next, they're off-model in subtle ways - Pickles with Murderface's build, up there, again.
But, yeah, art's serviceable, and the writing's good (well, I wasn't fond of the Doctor Rockzo bit, but I've never been a fan of Rockzo in general), so, all told, a good book.
