Date: 2010-10-14 08:13 am (UTC)Also, the comic itself it clear: Ice uses her normal powers against Alloy to defend Bea, but when Alloy punches her, that is Ice, into the wall, she uses these new powers to defend herself. This comes across pretty clearly in these scans. Alloy punches Ice, then Fire tells Rocket Red "He's going to kill her [Ice]," then Ice goes all hyper-mode, then Fire tells Red that Ice shouldn't be able to do that. It's very clear that Ice is defending herself.
