Now, you see, I actually don't mind something like this. A team of superheroes is never truly outmatched. They just have to survive until they come up with whatever brilliant solution they pull out of their ass to fix to plot comes to one of them. The fun is in watching them scramble.

Too much of it can grate. I'd like for their next plot to focus on, like, AIM or HYDRA or something a bit more down to earth. But for a comic freebie, this looks like it could work.

Sad confession: even though it's totally a throw-away gag, it still bothers me that science teacher Peter Parker would make the basic "Hey, it's cold locally right now, therefore global warming must be wrong" mistake.

(Has he still been a science teacher in current continuity? I have no idea.)

I completely forgot she was there (I didn't notice her huddled behind Danny and Clint). Yes, I'd imagine she's pretty cold as well. I'd love to see her just randomly throw a parka on over her costume.

I like this team, RLY, but THIS RAHT HURR is why the entire team cannot be STREET LEVEL. The best shot they got here is Ms. Marvel, who should be dead right now anyway, and she can't do it.

They should call in the Slott Avengers, who frankly at this point are the big guns (cue Joe Quesada tantrum). But I don't think they're in this. If they are I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I have a few questions:
1: Why is Hawkeye wearing that costume? What was wrong with his old one, pray tell? I mean, it's not a bad costume, for someone else, but Hawkeye already had a good one.
2: Is there some particular reason why Thor is wearing a suit of plate mail these days? I mean, efficient, yes, but if there was ever a guy who didn't need something like that, it's frickin' THOR. He's a GOD. Nigh-invulnerable. It's like issuing a cup to a man with a steel penis - what's the point?
3: It's nice to see someone other than Deadpool commenting on sound effects.
