IKR? That splash page is all tentacles, teeth and eyes. Kevin O'Neill could draw that stuff after becoming a quadruple amputee. Why not throw in a bat-wing or an array of fish-spines or some gigantic mass of many-fingered arms, for crissakes.

Looks like they have some photoshop going on, they could also be doing nice color and screening effects. Like one entity in one color scheme, another in another solid color, outlined in white instead of black...

yeah, could be better.

Hey, he practiced YEARS to be able to make a speech like that while his face and body remained....perfectly...still...

Ugh, I hated those 4 identical panels myself....

This entire miniseries has been full of massive space battles, huge crowd scenes, giant explosions, and enormous brawls.

Having three still panels in a row after five issues of working his ass off doesn't suddenly make him lazy. It makes you jaded.
