So Fab sets up a possible future Cass storyline with Tim and maybe even a possible return to the costume? And really the moment we've all been waiting for happens in this issue:

Though seriously this issue makes me think not only is Batgirl outfits Tim's kryptonite, but also women in cat masks.

I'm so in love with this issue that it's not even funny.
Finally we get to see a proper interaction between Bruce and Tim since his return.

Was nice seeing Cassandra. The 'superboy' part cracked me up.

And...Lynx/Tim is my guilty pleasure. The sexual tension between the two before they kissed, and hell, the kiss itself had more erotic than a porn movie.

Now I'm looking forward the conversation Bruce might have with Tim. 'So, you see, the problem with the catwoman types...'

I can't help but wonder if Bruce was relieved when he found out Dick preferred red heads or if he felt a little let down that he wouldn't need to share his wisdom of dealing with deadly, raven-haired Catwomen.

Very sweet. I'm pretty sure Fabien has said he has plans for Cass some months down the road. Was hoping for a Cass/Bruce reunion though - what, the big guy can't come to Hong Kong himself?

I love that Tim seems to grow and shrink depending on the emotion needed. He's Robin here, so he looks tiny.

Not that I have any idea of just how tall he's supposed to be. But I remember a scene a while back where people commented on his finally having a growth spurt. He's not that short coming up to Bruce's chin. I just know Marcus To must have intentionally let him tuck his head under there.

Aw. That's a pretty cool scene. I like this handling of Cass. And a small, secret part of me would love to see Cass as the Black Robin.

This issue should have been double sized given the ammount of fun it had. Besides Cass it had IVES in it. Which was a welcome in itself.

Me too. I'm also amused that 'superboy' only exists in the English text, not the characters. (At least, according to my Mum, who I got to read it for me!)

The things that makes me VERY nervous about this is how "Bruce lightens up" never ever lasts. It didn't last after KNIGHTFALL or NO MAN'S LAND or BRUCE WAYNE: MURDERER. Something happens and then the Bat-dickery runs wild.

It's not that I *like* Bruce being an asshat to his family and the Justice League; It's been his Standard Operating Procedure since 1986. Batman is a jerk. That's just how it is. Even getting tossed through time won't change that.

Most of Bruce's appeal is that he knows how screwed up he is. Even if he wants other people to be Batman (however THAT'S gonna work) doesn't mean he wants them to be like him.

I'm pretty much expecting dark paranoid grim Bruce to return once Morrison and Dini leave altogether. For many younger writers, raised on the Frank Miller version of Bruce, the temptation to write him as a tool to everyone else seems too good to pass up. It's easier than to write him as more multi-faceted.

Ah, so that's how the writers deal with not involving the characters like Cass into any moment with Bruce or whatever you call it. Write her off with a vague farewell to reassure readers that she isn't a part of anything with the bat family and her exclusion will further solidify that not only does she not belong in the series now, she didn't belong in the series period.

Wasn't there a saying that 2010 would be Cass' year but nothing came of it? And where was Cass at the unveiling of the Batman Incorporated? Bruce invited all the guys to the party, but not Cass? Either the writers really hate Cass to the point they'll go out of there way to write in excuses not to use her (which this red robin comic demonstrates) or Bruce Wayne is such a dick that he won't allow anyone who doesn't have a dick to be present with him at his big moment.

Seriously, screw that hug and screw those two involved. They're probably hugging knowing that A. Cass is gone and B. their reign will run surpreme knowing that DC's #1 female hero Wonder Woman is now slowly being abandoned as the head writer has just jumped ship.

And again, thanks for bringing Cass a notch.

Sometimes not writing a character is the best way to write a character. I'd rather know Cass is doing her thing in HK off-panel than read a crap story about her every month.

God, the Chinese translation here is REALLY REALLY BAD!
Did they just do it with Google translate? I can almost safe to say that the English-Chinese part is the worst of Google translate because it's really difficult to compensate the grammar differences between two languages. DC, please just hire some student from China in university next time, they can do this so much better.....Jesus....

1.the traditional Chinese part is correct, HongKong uses that. But my computer only has simplified Chinese input, so my characters would be a bit different:
香港今天
他可以停止帮派暴力吗？

It would be more likely to be

他
可以制止香港今日的帮派暴力吗？

2.Wayne Foundation
It should be 韦恩基金 instead of 韦恩基础。The later one sounds like a construction company.

3.Tim's name. When translating English names, we won't translate it into the meaning, but pick characters that has similar pronunciation. So even DRAKE means male duck we won't translate his name into 公鸭. Thank you, this is the most awful mistake. 蒂姆 for Tim would be fine, but it's translating the name in Mandarin style. Remember that this is HongKong and traditionally, they would translate in Cantonese style, so it would more likely to be 添.
TIM DRAKE would more likely 蒂姆·德雷克 OR 添·德雷克. 德雷克 is still a Mandarin style translation, but although I can speak Cantonese, I don't live in HongKong so not very familiar with their character choice on the DRAKE part.
3. 打开香港除法 I'm not sure I know what there trying for. 除法 means something like 4/2=2 in Chinese. If they're trying different classes in HongKong, use 阶层. And still, If I don't understand what this 打开香港除法 suppose to means since the Chinese is all kind of wrong and not English here to get me understand...

And, well 鸭 might be used to mention male prosititude if you are not meaning the aminal itself. So, poor Tim.......= =

But I still like these pages. I love Cass coming back. :D
