Reasons I love this issue: "Fisticuffs Enabled", Hammerfist style boxing and a Batman super punch.

And now something I made while I was bored last night: Mark Strong as Yellow Lantern Sinestro!

Kyle's always been awesome. (I miss the days of banter between him and Flash in JLA.) And I love the border for the Batman page--you don't need a sound effect with a crunchy border like that.

Because everything about it was so much of what I hate

I don't care if his backstory isn't the most original, I really really love him :) and I hope he stays in the GL rogue gallery for some time to come!

Motto. I think we see him on a later cover of GLC, so yeah, hopefully he'll stick around. I like how the GL villains have become increasingly complex and even sympathetic to some degrees. It's also cool to see someone remember that the Qwardians existed.

Well that panel is all kind of awesome and warms by geeky Bat-heart, BUT I cannot help but feel a little bad too. I mean, does Batman really have to be shoved into every aspect of the DCU? He gave Power Girl the tech, he taught Kyle how to fight, he gave the JLA..well..most of their stuff. It would be nice if the heroes could be awesome by their own strengths and skills, not just lean on Batman. It either makes me them kinda weak or Bats ridiculously over-powered (and overexposed, sorta).

Fixed that for you. But I don't think that I would have minded if the next few panels were, "Donna Troy. Wonder Woman. Green Arrow" etc. with a panel showing an individual move.
