So, so much. Damian sorely needs a healthy dose of humiliation, and I can't think of anyone more up to the task than Ravager.

It just works wonderfully and I want him to have his arse handed to him. I get it he`s supposed to be the tough and gritty Robin, but....really, kid. Stop. Now. Not funny anymore.

Meh, doesn't impress me, it just proves to me that Damian hasn't done ANY homework on his teammates. He's supposed to be able to, if not lead, at least think tactically, and a metamorph is a superb tactical weapon.

I think the single most offensive thing about Damian is the way we're supposed to accept his weak-sauce insults as hilarious witticisms.

No, it DOES count, but I would love to see happening more. He actually needs to learn to lose.

I'll give you that. Considering how many times he's underestimated opponents, gotten himself captured, required rescuing, etc...you'd think he'd start to learn that assuming he's the best fighter in the room is going to get him in trouble.

I blame the writers, a smart kid like that should really be more aware by now, but the hyper aggressive kid who flies off the handle must be too much fun to write.

The way he's usually written I can practically hear the clash of cymbals after every one liner. That, and the fact that he almost always gets the last word, suggests that the other characters just can't handle his awesome burns.

Particularly when he's arguing with Steph - they'll have a back and forth, Damian will throw out some lame insult (usually about her boobs) and then she'll shut up. I'm left with a general impression of "ho ho, Damian sure told HER, amirite?!"

All this just makes me wish someone would pick him up and chuck him down a well. And I actually like Damian some of the time.

I frequently take it as people just realizing how stupid it is to argue with a ten year old.

Oh, I don't think the writers intend to make Damian look mature, but I certainly think we're supposed to find him funny. And I do find him funny sometimes - but not when he's a brat for the sake of being a brat.

He's ten, you can't 'win' by exchanging barbs with him, that just makes you look about as mature as he is. Granted, she's pretty young too, but I can't root for someone who is looking to claim victory in a battle of wits with a prepubescent. Her responding to unpleasantness with more unpleasantness IS understandable, but it would still be gratifying for me to see them knock each other out, given how annoying both characters can be.

Besides, if she's going to go that route it would be funnier if she just openly patronized him and left the vaguely sexist bit out. Offer him a cookie or something.
