There were 135 entries so there are 9 days of polls to get to the finalists. And what a list!

Last week I asked you to name your most memorable moments for female DC characters. Today I have the first round of voting. You can vote for three moments. Not 5 or 10 (trust me I'll know). And today's list is has, for me, some hard choices. Voting is open until 8PM EST tonight. And for legality here are a few scans from today's choices (please post other moments if you have them!)

...Have Cheshire, Talia and Shiva ever thought of having a Maniac's Night Out? They could rent an orphan-powered rocket limo!

Ok, no. The last three are those three getting drunk together. I don't think the DCU could survive it.

Seriously, it would make the Osborn administration look banal in comparison.

Some of today's choices I've seen before (ex. Cass vs. Shiva, Wondy vs. Medusa), but others (ex. Lois refusing to believe Supes is dead) I haven't. Not sure I can make good voting decisions without scans at least of all of them...

I feel like I'm going to be one of the only people voting for Silver St. Cloud (it's old! Who actually read it?) but I think it is a very important moment in DC comics. The Silver storyline was essentially Batman comics big move out of casual misogyny

I actually voted for it because I've never read it; if it happened before I was born, and I've never even seen a panel with Silver even on it, and yet I still know about it and think of Silver as one of the Important Bat Women because of it, well, clearly it's important and memorable.

I agree with you on being important, but at the same time, we've always wanted female characters who are CHARACTERS, and not just some author-insert Mary Sue. I've read the story, and to me it just seemed like Silver was still this female archetype.

I agree - Silver St. Cloud was only really a factor in the Bat-books for a very short time, and the fact that she made a big enough impression that we're still talking about her forty-odd years later is a pretty good sign, I'd say.

Gonna be hard to top Wondy/Medusa, of the one's listed that's the one I remember the best.

Of the two, I'd have to pick Cheshire. Characters get killed in the DCU all the time these days, but even in comics, the nuking of a country is not something that happens every day.
