Actually, the freaky thing is, I seem to recall seeing in a few earlier scans... when he was young and short and skinny waaaay back when he had the stupid-looking curly-on-top-and-shaved-on-the-sides hairdo and the costume with a garter (before the jeans-and-tee costume and everyone trying to make him be of exactly the same general shape and size bodily as Clark despite being all of eighteen at the outside)... his facial structure actually sometimes looked more like some versions of Lex's than any version of Clark's I've ever seen. Just once in a while, with certain artists, and not always in line with Lex's facial structure in that particular artist's style... But hindsight being 20/20, I was majorly creeped out. He looked more like Lex's kid pre-retcon than post-retcon, in my humble opinion. Maybe his Kryptonian genes become even more dominant as he matures and gets more Kryptonian abilities? [/stupid but only half-sarcastic theory] Forget it, my theories get weird sometimes. I kept thinking that maybe Terry McGuiness's mom in Batman Beyond was the baby that Steph Brown gave up... and then I saw that Justice League Epilogue episode and decided to give up on that theory. I also have this weird idea that the people in Marvel who aren't mutants but have non-magical superpowers, like Spider-Man and such, had a dormant metagene that was simply activated by an outside stimulus, and that's why the irradiated spider-bite gave him powers instead of radiation sickness, and why Bruce Banner became the Hulk instead of getting cancer (except in that one really bleak alternate reality *gags*).

Wow, word vomit. Yeah, this is why I stick with science. Feel free to reply if you can actually wade through all that BS, but don't feel you even have to try to do that.
