Date: 2011-01-05 09:45 pm (UTC)it looks like they were trying for a Living Lantern kind of thing, but got " guy who just took something to the T3/T4 vertabrae".. which, considering what Scythe/Drachen did to him, is probably pretty approriate.
But seriously, the strips on the inside of his arms're evoking canes, which kinda ruins the whole thing. Maybe it'll look good in action, I don't know.

He looks like a Silver Age villain....
I'm actually more distressed by the fact that he's apparently going back to the Sentinel name. I'm a few issues behind, so if he already has, I missed it. (It's not a bad name, but Alan's the Green Lantern, darnit. Give us a new character named Sentinel!)

Unfortunately, the Justice Society, being quite the forerunner, has already been bringing the suck since last year, so who knows what poorly thought out, terrible idea might eventually replace it.
