And the rest of the issue seemed a bit short. My sad face is imminent.

hmmm i would have to see him play some one not so... campy? as Kurt. Billy always struck me as... fanboyish, not campy....

Chris is an actor and he portrays Kurt as camp because the scripts tells him Kurt is camp. He had been nominated to Emmy AND GG for his portrayal, because he's just such a good actor.

Chris himself is a huge geeky fanboy, who loves Harry Potter, knows his way around sai swords and has a trunk full of not of tiaras but X-Men action figures. I'm pretty sure Billy is closer to him than Kurt.

i don't count, i LOVE Glee,i love Chris colfer... i just have only ever seen him playing Kurt, or Kurt-like camp.so i had my doubts

I've seen him in a film called Russell Fish and he's not camp at all there, just a regualar, geeky teenager. Plus, I'm fixated on this idea, so I'm sure if he plays it like a lovechild of Graham Norton and Liberace, I'd still want this to happen ^^;

I am familiar with his work, though not a huge fan (The goodwill he generated from "Doctor Who" was evaporated completely by about 20 minutes "Torchwood"... any 20 minutes of "Torchwood" in fact)

There's a joke I had about this.

When Children's Crusade 2 was out and posted on SD, Billy transformed everyone there into Von Trapp clothes. Kate even pointed out who Eli was dressed as.

My internal conversation was this:

Me: So, then who's Billy dressed....DUH, he's Kurt. Because Billy Tivos Glee to watch it when Teddy's not around...

Furthermore, the character of Kurt was named Kurt because Chris played him in Sounds of Music and Ryan Murphy said he looked familiar.

My head is about to explode. The coincidence would be just too incredible if that happened.

I'd nix that just because Colfer doesn't look anything like I imagine Billy looking. Love him in Glee, but really not seeing him in an action type role. Or with flippy/wavy hair, which Billy must have if the world is to remain intact.


I'd love a young Jake Gyllenhaal to play him. Or maybe that David Henrie kid from Wizards of Waverly place, which I have actually seen once or twice to my eternal shame. If that guy became a somewhat better actor, he could pull of the action fanboy thing...
