Post fanart, recs and links to your favorite artists, or just whatever you really like! The only requirement is you have to be able to credit the artist, and provide a link if available. If you can't source it, please don't post it. Everything else is free game, fans!
And make sure to keep NSFW art behind a link with a warning.
And of course, your own fanart is welcome, too!

But Fan-thing Thursday isn't just about fanart, post links to your fanfic or fanvids, or rec your favorites! It's all about fan-thing fun. Though a reminder that Dreamwidth doesn't support embedded videos, so you'll have to just post a link.

So Damian wants to have a bat-themed pet, but he's not going to be outdone by a couple of wussies like Grayson and Drake, he has his OWN ideas about what constitutes a worthy pet.

First time reporting a fanfic series

Since you did say it's not limited to fanart, mods...

One thing I did want to share was a fanfic series done by the author of "Red Witch" called the Misfit-verse:

You'll have to dig through since she's written over 700 fan-stories, but one thing that impressed me the most was how she crossed over the "X-Men Evolution" universe with the Hasbro "G.I. Joe" universe, creating a AU-Evo reality called the "Misfit-verse".

Summary: the Brotherhood have been abandoned by Magneto, with Toad being the first to be cast off, and they been taken in by G.I. Joe since they're still teenagers. The Brotherhood become the Misfits led by Wavedancer, the daughter of the G.I. Joe sailor, Shipwreck.

Granted, Red Witch has some flaws such as repeating jokes (especially those involved with alcohol), dragging out the Lance/Kitty/Piotr love triangle too long, some slight Mary Sue-ness of Wavedancer (Red Witch's OC), and never really emphasizing battle scenes.

However, she is a comedic genius and has been writing the series for ten years before she "ended" it. And she has written a lot of fanfics based in the actual canon of "X-Men Evolution". And I can't tell you how many times I laughed at the witty humor and admired how she has tied in a lot of the comics canon into the Misfitverse from Avengers, Runaways, Fantastic Four, and the Hulk. And of course, I have a small weakling for the hinted romance between Storm and Shipwreck (it's more of a "he loves her, she utterly loathes him to the point of constant electrocution" sort of relationship).

Note that your mileage may vary. Still, if you want a good laugh, a good kind of crazy, and a smile on your face, then give it a shot. =)
