So....he gets to "re-start" everything? So he might not grow up to be such a douche the second time around? (as much as a god of trickery can not be a douche)
Maybe if he "split" himself up, since he is no longer bound by Asgardian rules of creation and death, he would not be such a douche. Mayhap this incarnation is his mischief nature, while the rest of him is elswhere. One of the main reason why he did what he did is that he would not have to remain "Loki", forever bound to act the role that fate had handed to him.
Wow. Now I REALLY feel bad for not paying attention to this book--should have known that Fraction doing Thor and art this pretty has to make for a fascinating book. :D
It really has been quite a good book ever since they brought it back. And this is coming from someone who was never really interested in the Thor books before. Fraction and Ferry started working on the book in #615, which is also where this whole World Eaters arc started, so that might be a good jumping on point if you're interested. :)

His memory is fractured (perhaps) and chibi-Loki appears to have been one of Loki's "Escape-Death" plans.

It seems like Loki looks the best when he takes some other form.
