Date: 2011-01-15 06:06 am (UTC)See, that's precisely the problem. It just doesn't make sense that this story takes place ten years ago or less. This was relatively early in Marvel Age history, when the original X-Men and Peter Parker were still in high school. Since then, so much stuff has happened that it cannot possibly happen in 10 years. Based on the scans, I was ready to pretend it was the 90s - except for the Henrix thing, and the few bits that suggested that the story was set more recently than that.
Like I said - sliding timescale hurts my brain.
