Her real name is Kiran (Sanskrit for "Ray of light" as it turns out, which is a nice touch given her powers, though it's apparently usually a boys name) and her parents are Vijay and Rani (Vijay in particular is an Indian name), and her families base of operations is Delhi, though they have worked in digs in Pakistan.
