There wasn't a Human Torch in the Council of Richards, so it must be Johnny. But when I read it back then I thought it was someone else who had died before and was obscure.

Ques: Who is the Future Man? Rama Tut?

And will Valeria and Franklin pull a Dr. Who "Pandorica" to bring back Johnny?

The thing that really strikes me in retrospect - and it actually bugged me reading at the time - is that in 574 Franklin is annoying Johnny by being a total Spider-Man fanboy, and then in 582 when future Val calls him her favourite hero, future Franklin says his is "still the Human Torch".

So I wouldn't be at all surprised if this is a deliberate clue too.
