Entry tags:admin: requests
Time once again for you to pester your fellow SDers with requests.

Once a month we will have a requests post where members can ask for certain scans to be posted. Other members seeking inspiration can look through the requests and fulfill someone's dream. Posting a request is no guarantee of its being filled, but request posts will be archived so that members can look through comments from previous months and answer them if they so desire.

So Scans Daily, what do you want?

I need to start making a list. I always think of stuff I want to see but forget by the time the requests post is made. XD

Their was a Superman issue/one-shot dealing with Steel, Darkseid and to some extent Our Worlds At War back during the same time PAD's Supergirl run was ending. While his stuff is off limit if anyone could post parts of that issue it'd be good, it had Superman meeting the Pre-Crisis Supergirl (and of course snubbing her) and some Superman PWNing Darkseid for extra fun.

Back on the old S_D, someone once made a post detailing the apparently epically slashy relationship between Snapper Carr and the android Hourman in [title and issues I don't remember]. If anyone remembers that post and can reconstruct it (or just remembers the post and can tell me what title & issues to look for) it would be awesome.

I'd like to see scans from Wonder Woman's twelve labors. That would be #s 212 through 222. Not so much 213 (observed by The Flash), I have that even if it's missing a few pages. Nor 215 (observed by Aquaman) or 218 (observed by Red Tornado and The Phantom Stranger). But the rest of them, sure, and if these are collected in trade, please point me in that direction.

Oooh, so many things... lemme think!

Well, I find the community severely lacking in Asterix, Lucky Luke and Tintin stories; granted, nezchan, iconuk, hobanaut and a few others (I might be forgetting) are fellow enthusiasts. On the whole, though, there's not enough of them, given their statuses and importance.

On the superhero front, Byrne's "Generations" was rather interesting (specially first series).

Also, not much on Millar's finest work, Red Son.

And I will never stop asking for Bronze Age DC comics, no matter how many of them we already have! :)

I'm still looking for (ideally) complete scans of the BATMAN newspaper comic strip from 1990, and specifically the Two-Face storyline:

They've only been reprinted in issues of COMICS REVUE, which are frelling impossible to track down. If no one can help me, my only other option is to scour through the newspaper records at the Library of Congress.

I dearly want scans of either or both of the comics based on Romero's Day of the Dead, preferably Desertion, which appeared with the (British only?) DOTD Special Edition Blu-Ray:

I'm also curious to see the idependently-produced Rising of Bub miniseries:

Hm, I've heard about these but haven't seen 'em:

-Young X-Men and Runaways clubbing (apparently only a page, but really, I must see!)
-Death (with help from John Constantine's banana) gives a sex ed lesson. (need I say more?)
-Cowboys and Aliens. (Movie's coming out, why don't we have it up yet to get acquainted?)

And now for the magic words...please and thank you!

Oooh, ooh! The recent Shazam one shot put me in the mood for more bad-ass Mary Marvel, preferably from the Power of Shazam era. (Please, no dark Mary. It hurts my soul.)

Also, that scene with Jean Grey scaring the crap out of Sabretooth for giving Jubs nightmares.

And, last and least, any scans from that "Team Superman" book starring Supes, Superboy, Matrix and Steel. I own an issue from that and will post it eventually, but it's back at my folks house now...

M-day, with scarlet witch casting the spell and how the hell the x-men were spared...

A bit of backstory on Hope, who she is, and why did cable sacrifice his life to protect her...

That whole Cyclops-Apocalypse possession storyline

I'd like to see more of Kevin Smith's Green Hornet and Kato. Those are books I recommend and happen to be a great read.

Also as usual, more Roy Harper and more Artemis.

Also in light of the Young Justice cartoon, I would like to see more posts about Artemis Crock.
